Dr. S Michael Forsythe

1975 Graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has a special interest in large animal medicine and enjoys doing orthopedic surgeries. Other interests include sports, traveling and spending time with his four grandchildren. His oldest granddaughter is attending his alma mater, BGSU, for nursing. His other grandchildren attend Fisher Catholic, St. Mary's, and Cononel Crawford. They are all very active and are involved in cheerleading, cross country, track, basketball, and softball. His wife, Linda, is the office manager at the Amanda Animal Hospital.

Dr. Megan Berry

Dr. Megan Berry is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Harpersfield, Ohio (Ashtabula County) where her parents own a small livestock and crop farm. She attended the University of Findlay and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Biology, and was a member of the dance team. Before attending vet school she worked with cynomolgus macaques for three years in a laboratory. Her main interest is any food animal species, but she likes working with horses, dogs, and cats as well. She and her husband recently moved to Ashville with their two mixed breed dogs and a rabbit.

Dr. Chris Kitsmiller

Dr. Chris Kitsmiller has been with our team since April of 2012. He is a 2010 graduate of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and a 1996 graduate of Ohio Dominican University. He previously worked at the Brush Animal Hospital and the Athens Veterinary Clinic before coming to the AAH. Dr. Kitsmiller sees both large and small animal patients. He resides in Baltimore, Ohio with his wife and four daughters.
