Dr. Lori Davis

Dr. Davis graduated from The Ohio State University with her DVM degree in 2008.  After graduating, she worked at Byland Animal Hospital in Loudonville, OH for 8 years and then at Masterson's Vet Clinic in Somerset, OH for 2 years before purchasing the Amanda Animal Hospital.  She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but truly loves livestock and equine work - including reproduction.  She also really enjoys small animal soft tissue surgery.  Her husband, Tony, is from Amanda and they have 3 children - Peyton, Clay, and Helen, as well as 2 cats.

Dr. S Michael Forsythe

Dr. Forsythe is the previous owner and a 1975 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has a special interest in large animal medicine and enjoys doing orthopedic surgeries. Other interests include sports, traveling and spending time with his four grandchildren. His oldest granddaughter is attending his alma mater, BGSU, for nursing. His other grandchildren attend Fisher Catholic, St. Mary's, and Cononel Crawford. They are all very active and are involved in cheerleading, cross country, track, basketball, and softball.

Dr. Megan Berry

Dr. Megan Berry is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Harpersfield, Ohio (Ashtabula County) where her parents own a small livestock and crop farm. She attended the University of Findlay and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Biology, and was a member of the dance team. Before attending vet school she worked with cynomolgus macaques for three years in a laboratory. Her main interest is any food animal species, but she likes working with horses, dogs, and cats as well. She and her husband recently moved to Circleville with their two mixed breed dogs and a rabbit.

Dr. Deanna Fredriks

Dr. Deanna Fredriks graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 and completed a large animal medicine and surgical internship at Mississippi State University following graduation.  She enjoys all aspects of mixed animal practice, especially camelids (llamas and alpacas), as well as exotics!

Nita Price

Nita has been at Amanda Animal Hospital since May 2017.  Before that, she drove school bus for 26 years at Amanda Clearcreek School District.  She lives in Amanda with her husband, Dave, whom she's been married to for 30 years.  She has 2 children, Lacey & Jacob, and 4 grandchildren - Laney, Tanner, Marlee, and Titan.  She has several pets including dogs, cats, and a snake.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Becca Ford

Becca is an Amanda-Clearcreek graduate who continued her education and love of animals at Bradford School.  After graduating from the Veterinary Technician program, she began her journey at Amanda Animal Hospital.  In her free time, she helps her husband, David, with his family-owned butcher shop and farm.  For now, they have multiple fur-babies but hope to add some little ones into the mix soon!

Kaitlyn Delong

Kaitlyn grew up in Hocking Hills and was an avid member of 4-H and FFA.  She enjoyed showing and breeding Mini Rex and Californian rabbits, along with her horses.  She graduated from college with a degree in Equine Healthcare.  After marrying her husband Brian in 2015, they were blessed with their daughter, Emma Reese.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and stepson, Chase.  Their growing homestead consists of 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 goats, and hopefully another horse in the near future.


  • Loves goats and is interested in breeding them


Aaron is our 18 pound office manager.  His hobbies include sleeping in the bathroom and begging for treats.  He enjoys greeting everyone and their pets and has left many people in awe of his enormous stature :)
